Vintage clothing, by it's very definition, is by no means new. But the concept of vintage fashion is fast gathering momentum and settling nicely into it's guilded place on the high street and internet. So what is it that we love so much about vintage clothes? How we all love our leggings. They’re a wardrobe staple that can be worn on their own or layered up. Leggings are comfortable for lounging around at home, great for wearing under a short dress on cooler nights or stylish for teaming up with ankle boots for a shopping trip downtown. Many people are opposed to the “tights as trousers” look but I think it entirely depends on your body shape and what you choose to wear on top. A loose-fitting longer top would be more appropriate to wear with a pair of leggings than a top that stops at your hips, and unless you have a super slim figure, a tight-fitting top worn with leggings is a no no.
