Then there was Prada which had bright carrot in everything from separates and dresses to shoes and even sunglasses. While Marc Jacobs’ nod to the seventies included retro geometric prints in rust, purples, copper, magenta and of course orange.
How To Wear
So, how you can wear this juicy color? The secret is in the combinations. Combine it with black, white or any other bright color – and you have a striking, bold look: here you need to think streamlined and strong silhouettes. Next to pastels or florals, orange is instantly summery and feminine: choose lightweight fabrics such as silks and chiffon with girly details. Brown, cream with orange is an elegant and timeless combination: with the huge trend for 70s don orange bottoms, pile on chunky accessories and rock those platforms. While the weather’s still dreary, it’s time to ditch greige and get fruity with orange.
